Florida Sailing 2007

Aboard the Seaquel to....  I flew to Florida on my spring break and met with Rob O'Brien and Jim Vose in St. Augustine.
After spending a couple of days there, we set sail north. The Seaquel to.. is a C&C 37 built in 1984.

In St. Augustine. That's Jim and Rob

In the dingy motoring out to the Seaquel to... as we were leaving port.  Jim is a contractor in
St. Augustine and is on the phone conducting some last-minute business.

One of our ports of call was Jekyll Island in Georgia. Here we are along with Jim's friend, Terri, having dinner.

Joe Fay from Rob's home town of Carlisle, PA joined the crew and here we navigated stiff winds. Notice that Rob and Joe
are both wearing harnesses to keep them on board ship when the going gets rough. We sailed in both the open Atlantic
and in the more protected Intracoastal Waterway behind coastal islands.

Most nights we simply anchored in protected (or in one case not-so-protected) areas.

When we reached Savannah, we met Anne, Melissa and husband, Dan, as well as their 18 month old boy Max
